Have loads of fun by getting out of your comfort zone and trying out some of the dress styles that you can be sure to still be fashionable in the future. And no, we’re not limiting you to just maxis here.

Here are some of the most favorite summer dresses that you can wear for many years to come.

Age is but a number, especially when it comes to fashion. But a lot of women I know who are in their 30s or over tend to let go of their fashion senses for fear of being seen as trying too hard. But I realized there’s a huge difference between “trying too hard” and stylish.

I’ve rounded up some clothing inspirations that could help women in their 30s look youthful and fashionable without being tacky.

Casual Office Chic
You’ll need a crisp shirt, pencil skirt, leather jacket or blazer and white sneakers. You’ll still look like office-appropriate but with a bit of an edge.

Fab Corporate Style

Love wearing dresses? Pick a flowy knee-length number and a nice blazer, and voila, you’re good to go for a corporate meeting. But instead of wearing just heels with it, team it up with socks for a hipster style.

Playful with a Touch of Elegance

Playsuits are definitely a no-no for the office. But paired with strappy heels for clubbing or wining with your girlfriends? They’re definitely all sorts of yes. But to keep things appropriate for your age, you can opt for this blue lace overlay racerback romper or pinstripe plunge romper, depending on where you’ll be wearing it.

Some people dread Thanksgiving get-togethers, especially with family. Those great aunts and uncles who’ve been telling you to get married would most likely be there. The cousins you grew up with and called you “fatty” or “ugly” will be there, too. And worse, maybe one of your ex-boyfriends who’s now dating a distant relative or a close family friend would be there. Gah! Let’s hope not.

But turkey day can’t be all that bad. Right? It can still turn out perfect, if you prepare for it. I don’t mean like preparing for Doom’s Day! No. What I mean to say is that you should make it point to look your best on that day.

Don’t know what to wear for Thanksgiving dinner? Take a look at these clothing suggestions.

Make them go Rawr!

Pick an animal print dress or top to give your audience a glimpse of your wild side. They’ll be surprised to see you wearing such a bold outfit. If you want a more subtle style though, you can wear a faux woolen utility jacket over an LBD. It’s still has that rawr! factor without making you look like you’re trying too hard to impress.

Go girly-girly

If you prefer a sweet, feminine style, then wear a girlie ensemble. A long tulle skirt will be the perfect match for a bustier top. Add an edge to your ensemble by wearing a faux leather biker jacket in white or neutral color over it. Everyone will surely be singing your praises for such an avant garde look.

Something not-so-formal

Most family dinners for Thanksgiving Day aren’t formal. But if you want to make everyone’s eyes gouge in awe of just how ravishing you look, wear something that’s not too casual and not too formal. A flowy dress in a bright color will definitely brighten up a gloomy day (the weather should be gloomy because it’s winter, right?). If the dinner is going to be indoors, you can wear an orange high-low chiffon dress for the occasion. Outside, you can cover up in a suede overcoat or wool jacket.

Something fancy and shimmery

If it’s going to be a fancy dinner at a posh restaurant in town, you should be wearing something that will make you sparkle. A gold sequin strapless dress that falls several inches above the knees will certainly do the trick. Wear it with black tights and pumps or a pair of strappy heels. Don’t forget to cover up with a cozy coat.

Go for comfortable

Don’t want to risk being unable to zip your pants up after indulging in lots of turkey and desserts? You can still look sexy and stylish with a shift dress in a warm color. Wear it black tights or stockings and a pair of suede booties for a modern appeal.

But, if you're lacking in style for the upcoming, much-anticipated Coachella festival, then here are some hints you can try:

Crop Tops

Belly-baring tops are our go-to pieces when it comes to spring music festivals as the weather tends to be hotter (and the party wilder). Another thing you can do is to tone down fringed items and opt for a
breezy top and statement accessories.
