3 Clothing Pieces That Will Instantly Turn You into A Boho Chic | Lookbook Store

Boho chic is fashion style derived from bohemian and hippie influences. It was made popular by the actress Sienna Miller and supermodel Kate Moss in the United Kingdom. While actress and businesswoman Mary Kate Olsen started the boho chic trend in the United States.

Boho chic is definitely one of the most sought after style in fashion. Not only because it is stylish and trendy, but because it is so comfortable and laidback. However, it can be a little bit tricky to pull off at times. So we are rounding off four of the easiest pieces you can wear that can instantly give you the boho feel.

Knit Wear

Knit cardigans and sweaters are definitely a part of every stylish woman’s fashion staples. But if your want to nail that bohemian flair, you should opt to something that is a bit lacy, crocheted, or see-through. They are light enough to be used as layering pieces all throughout the year no matter what the season is.

Perhaps you could wear an oversized crocheted piece over a tank top along with a pair of flared pants and clogs. This could give you an instant boho boost.

Printed Maxi Dress

Printed maxi dresses are such a huge hit these past months. Choose something with geometric or nature-inspired prints then match them with your chunky earthy jewelries and gladiator sandals. If you want to make it a bit casual, layer it with your denim vest and you’re good to go.

Tunic Tops

Tunic blouses and shirts are perhaps the easiest thing that can help your pull off that bohemian style. Since peasant tops may not be one of the hot items these days, they could still be a staple for boho chic. Go something embroidered or those with geometric prints. Slay the boho look by wearing them with leggings and your knee-high boots.

After the freezin’ cold winter we had, here comes our favorite season- spring! We love spring not only because of the perfectly not-too-warm-not-too-cold weather, but we just couldn’t wait to wear those lovely clothes. As we officially get ready for this season, we’ve had our eyes on all the new spring fashion trends. We have watch out for our favorite fashion designers, and look inspirations on how are we going to nail that lovely and astounding spring #OOTD.

So take a look, and get some outfit ideas as we sum up the 5 most wearable spring trends this year.

WORDY TEES

Wearing wordy tees, slogan tees, statement shirts, or whatever you call them is definitely one of the “unboring” ways of wearing a T-shirt. Tees with short, sweet, printed big words are just so cute that it is sometimes so impossible to resist wearing them. Stand up for something you believe in by donning shirts with statements such as “Be your own hero”, or simply be cute and wear shirts with words related to the season.

SPORTY HOODIE

Well, 2016 has been officially the year of the hoodie. What about this year? We’re just happy to say that this piece is here to stay.  Whether it’s something in hype millennial pink or close to grey hues, we just can’t get enough of hooded stuffs. From hooded sweatshirts to hoodie dresses- name it all. Hooded clothing are quite in because they are a combination of sporty and relaxed. So if you wanna get that relaxing and comfy do this season, be sure to throw on a hooded ensemble.

HIPPIE and BOHO

We are just so glad that this trend is back! Thanks to Demna Gvasalia, paisley, floral patchwork print are here again. While different in their own ways, both boho and hippie style of clothing have so much to do with the attitude of being free-spirited. You will get the perfect look as you don clothes with soft weightless fabric that gives an airy movement as you swirl. Anything with bell sleeves, fringe and tassels, and paisley prints, as well as maxi dresses are in!

STRIKING STRIPES

Stripes are one our forever favorites! It’s amazing that they are back again this year. But we have a subtle caution for this. Stripes can either make or break your style. Some stripes can make you look fat, some can make you look lean. The secret is to find a striped item that will work for you. Be it a striped dress, or a romper, or a shirt, your choices are quite limitless.

PINK POWER

Just when we thought that the color pink is already pervasive, almost all designers for spring 2017 showed up with pink dresses. From toned-down pastels to electrified berry tones, any kind of pink will definitely be a hit this season.

Hope this helps, ladies. So, what are you waiting for? Start planning and plotting your style for this season now.

Fashion Week is happening around the world. This means that new trends are being introduced to all fashionistas out there.

Are you someone who follows trends? No? Don’t want to look like everyone else? Well, you don’t have to. Following trends doesn’t necessarily mean looking exactly like other people. Of course, you’re always welcome to put your own spin into them to suit your personal style.

These are some of the fashion trends to watch out for this 2016.

  • Retrofied

Tie dies were big '60s and '70s style. This year, they're making a huge comeback not only in t-shirts, but also in dresses, pants and swimsuits.

Blue Tie Dye Bikini

  • Something Blue
The color blue is big on the runways nowadays, especially in the models’ makeup. You can, however, accentuate your look with something blue, like this light blue double-breasted coat.

  • Pleated Wonder

Again, this is another '70’s style that’s becoming big again. Because pleated skirts or dresses can be too feminine, you can give it an edgy touch with a leather jacket.

    • White Shirt Revamped
Those boring white shirts for men are a thing of the past. This year, revamped styles of this classic piece are in, like this white mesh shell V neck shirt.

    • That '70s Vibe
Suede is one of the most-loved fabrics in the 70s, thanks to its luxurious appeal. Go for a chic vintage look with this brown suede strappy crop top and printed maxi skirt.

    • All Wrapped Up
This year, it’s all about wrap-style skirts and dress, like this black asymmetrical wrap skirt.

    • Stripes, Stripes and More Stripes
This 2016, stripes are a thing again – the bolder, the better.

Preparing for an important interview for a job you’ve dreamed of all your life can be a bit daunting. It can be both exciting and scary, to say the very least.

This is why you need to make the necessary preparations, including polishing your resume and most of all, picking out the perfect ensemble that will make a good impression on the interviewer.

Forget about the traditional white shirt and black bottoms ensemble. It’s dated and boring, and thus, don’t make much impact anymore. So, to make your interviewer take you seriously for the job you are applying for, it’s best that you pick clothes that are well-put-together. Check out these chic and interview-appropriate outfits.
    • Pantsuit
Women’s pantsuit is the easiest ensemble to choose when going for something that calls for corporate attire. But to make it more current, play with textures and do away with black. You can wear a satin blouse, tweed jacket and silk trousers. As for the color, go for bright blue or mustard to keep things interesting.

    • Creativity-Infused
Applying for a marketing or creative director position? Show off your playful and imaginative side by opting for a quirky outfit. A metallic or faux leather pencil skirt with a pink cropped cowl neck sweater and heeled oxfords would be a fun and intriguing look.

    • Relaxed Style
Jeans are still a no-no when it comes to job interviews. But if you’re into more relaxed styles, go for loose-fitting leather pants and a crisp white classic button-down shirt. To avoid looking too casual through, opt for stilettos or strappy heels. That’s to add a chic vibe to your attire.

Because the cold season usually calls for layers and layers of clothing, the best fashion investment you can make for autumn and, eventually, winter is outwear. After all, nobody will notice how stylish you are if a unique statement shirt or sexy dress is covered by a jacket or coat. With that said, you might as well invest in fashionable outwear pieces.

Here's a short list of cozy  outwear pieces that never  go out of style. And not to mention, keeping you fashionable at all times.

    Denim Jackets
They're not only a perennial favorite, but they're consistent in keeping us looking stylish for years as well. The most probable reason could be is that they're  casual  that they’re  perfect  for daily wear. So if you need something to keep you warm while wearing a maxi dress put on a denim jacket.

    Studded Shoulder Denim Blazer

    Puffer Coats
This may sound surprising but wearing such voluminous   jackets  can actually be worn off the slopes. One of them is wearing  a puffer coat with form-fitted pieces, like skinny jeans or leggings. If the coat's cut allows it,  trying cinching it with a belt to give definition to your waist. Get some more tips by reading this article about how to wearsuch a jacket.

    Double-Breasted Coats
Double-breasted coats are great piece to wear if you want to look sophisticated without sacrificing comfort and warmth. Match them with tight-fitting pants or skirts, and a pair of tall, furry boots for a fierce and chic look.

    PU Leather Jackets
They're the best alternative if you're looking for something affordable.  Leather jackets can always give you an instant edgy to your chic look. Wear them as layering pieces to dainty dresses or sleek skinny jeans.
