How time flies. It feels like it was only yesterday that we
were just talking about the Holidays and then...poof! We're already halfway
through 2015.
Speaking of which, June is here (a.k.a wedding month) and I bet
your calendar is booked for many weddings.
And I also know that while you're going to be pre-occupied with
thinking of gift ideas to give to the bride and groom, you'll also be stuck at the I-don't-know-what-to-wear dilemma.
Again.
So before you get yourself in to a major sartorial stress,
here are stylish dresses that can pass different wedding dress codes:
·
White Tie
This is the most formal dress code in the wedding
dictionary. It's basically like The Great Gatsby wedding receptions without the
elaborate headpieces.
·
Black Tie
Although less formal than the aforementioned, it doesn't
mean, however, that you have to wear ALL BLACK. Never be afraid to add a pop of color to your
ensemble with this dress code.
From left to right: Magic Maxi Dress (sold-out), Black Bodycon Lace Dress (sold-out),
Cutout Black Bodycon Dress (sold-out), Yellow Strapless Sheath Dress (sold-out)
Cutout Black Bodycon Dress (sold-out), Yellow Strapless Sheath Dress (sold-out)
·
Semi-Formal
A semi-formal dress code is a crossover between a black tie and a dressy casual. So if there's
no dress code specified then this is your safest bet.
Nude Low-Neck Lace Dress | Apricot Mesh Stripe Dress (sold-out)
·
Dressy Casual
This dress code is encouraged for
a daytime outdoor wedding or informal
backyard wedding (unless the invitation states a dress code).
Asymmetrical Floral Dress (sold-out) | Pastoral Side Slit Maxi Dress | Black Floral Off Shoulder Dress
·
Casual
For a casual dress code, opt for palazzo pants, maxi skirts,
jumpsuits,
but never short skirts and shorts (it might offend the groom and bride if
you're wearing something that you usually wear. Yikes!).
Black Off Shoulder Jumpsuit (sold-out) | Bow Striped Culottes (sold-out) | Foliage Printed V-Cut Romper (sold-out) | Pink Pleated Maxi Skirt (sold-out)
And that's about it. Now that you have some ideas, go and
nail a stylish look for each wedding you're going to this June.
Speaking of which, June is also a special month for Lookbook
Store. So go ahead and check out their 2nd Anniversary Sale. You just might find a
good deal for a dress that's perfect for a wedding.

You will attend a wedding soon, for sure! At least you have a guide already! :)
DeleteI've already had two weddings this year and I am exhausted! My brother is also getting married in August and so I'm looking forward to getting dressed up for that. I really like the pleated style skirt look and just ordered one one similar that actually comes in a dress! Great looks:-)
