It’s that time of the year again for ghouls, vampires and monsters to roam the streets spooking everyone. While the rest choose to dress like the ugliest and creepiest creatures to ever walk the planet, why not make yourself stand out? This year, be the meanest, scariest yet the sexiest of all freaks when you go trick or treating or partying on Halloween Night. You can be a titillating vampire queen, a temptress witch, a freaky bloody nurse or a sensual ghoul – you can be anything you want with the right outfit.

Seductive Witch of the South

Are you planning to dress up as a witch this Halloween? Give your all-black costume a sexy twist with a pointed black hat, dark makeup and this black Queen Anne neckline dress. Who would think that witches could be so seductive, right?

Head-Turner Corpse Bride

Nothing is more divine than a vision of a bride in her elegant wedding dress. But it’s a different story when she’s a corpse bride. All that rage and vengeance screaming from all over her body can be pretty scary. But an undead bride can still look ravishing (yes, even with all that blood and puss coming out of her) with this white tulle dress. It’s the right length, fabric and style that’ll make a ghost bride still irresistible to his estranged groom.

Spunky Fairy

Do you believe in fairies? Though I have passed the age where you believe in such things, no one can really tell me they don’t exist, especially after seeing Tinkerbell.

If you’re thinking of being pixie or fairy this Halloween, give it a sexy flair with a pirate fairy costume and add some spunk into your outfit.

Pirate Fairy

Sweet, Naughty Little Vampire

We all know what happens when a vampire is exposed to the sun? No, they don’t sparkle. But, what happens when you are under the spotlight dressed in this semi gothic black vintage-inspired mini dress? Add some dark makeup, vampy lippies, fake fangs and a lovely black cape and you’ll be a modern day vampire who’ll make men fall under her feet.

Summer is almost ending, and we don't want to leave it with great disappointment, right? Why not try and have some fun? And by fun I mean, LET'S PARTY!

Here are three things to put in mind when throwing an unforgettable one:

  • Flashy Get-Up
What's the use of partying if you don't get noticed, right?  All you need to get noticed is an admirable personality and a flashy get-up. And when it’s a flashy get-up, you might want to try this sweet blouse.

  • Party Hair
If you're in for some serious partyin’ then your hair should speak for itself.

Nicki Minaj fab hair flip
  • Groovy Music
Party and music are like two peas in a pod. They go together, and so it's important to have a list of songs to play during the entire event.

Better yet, hire a live band. After all, it's going to be the party ender for all summer parties so make it worth your while.

Of course, if you're going to party 'til you drop, make sure you're dressed in comfortable party garb, like this denim skirt.

And that's about it. What are your ideas for a midsummer party? Share it with us by commenting it below or by tweeting us @LookbookStore.

No one is ever prepared for a breakup, and it’s not something we look forward to. Ever. Indeed, having your heart broken sucks…BIG time.

Although bad breakups can be very messy and painful, know that it's not the end of the world. Yes, you may find it hard to let go and move on, and only time can tell when you can finally say, "I'm alright." or "Good riddance.", but the things you do during the process can make a whole lot of difference to enduring it.

So if you're under going a stressful breakup, here are some things you should and shouldn't do.

THE DO'S

1. Cry your heart out.
It doesn't matter how long your crying session will be, just let it all out until your tears run dry. After that, you'll be okay.

2. Go out and party.

Partying with friends is a welcome distraction to your aching heart.

3. Write it in a journal.
Putting words to your thoughts and emotions is quite therapeutic.

4. Listen to T-Swift's songs.
Because Taylor totally understands what you're going through right now. She always does.

5. Keep yourself busy.
Moping around the corner doesn’t help you to move on, Why? because you have a lot of time in your hands, which tend to welcome unwanted memories. Distract yourself by getting off the couch with these 99 free things to do outside your home.

6. Talk with friends.
Friends and love ones are the people who got your back no matter what.

THE DON'TS

1. Don't call.
How can you move on if it's his voice you want to hear? Ghost calling won't help either. Trust me.

2. Don't stalk.
It's a smart move when you unfollow or block him from all your social media accounts. Doing this won't temp you to check up on him every once in a while.

3. Don't let the world know.
No one wants to read about your breakup woes on Facebook. You don’t want him to think that you can’t literally live without him either.

4. Don't get into a rebound relationship.
Because its simply toxic. You’re using another human being just to make your ex jealous? Are you nuts?

5. Don't punish yourself.
Not everything is under your control. So don't beat yourself to it.

6. Don’t be bitter.
Don’t let a bad experience and a broken heart stop you from enjoying the beautiful things life can offer.

And that's it. I hope that helps.

Planning a vacation is fun. But when it's time to pack up your OOTDs, your excite-meter drops because you have to consider these factors: your destination's weather, the number of days you'll be out, and the activities you'll be doing.

Don't fret, though, because here are some tips that can help you plan you be vacay-ready in time.

Summer

1. Plan your outfits in advance.

When you are in a rush to pack everything up, you're more likely to grab whatever is in front of you instead of your stylish pieces. Knowing what to wear for certain situations before you hit the road makes packing easy. Plus, it minimizes over packing.

2. Pack the basics.

From left to right: white lace drawstring short (sold-out), purple layered bikini set (sold-out), off shoulder romper (sold-out)hi-lo dress (sold-out)

Shirts, shortsrompers, bikinis, cover ups, flip-flops,  heels -- pack whatever you need for a stylish holiday. Just wear your jacket, jeans, and boots at the airport to free up some space in your luggage.

3. Roll them on.

Trust me, rolling your clothes, instead of folding, them can save lots of space in your luggage.

4. Use the undies equation.

A hack to bring the correct number of undies: One day is equal to two panties and one bra. Easy, right?

5. Pack some extras.

It's safe to bring at least one extra set of outfit in your carry-on bag in case of delayed flights, emergencies or lost baggage.

And that's about it. So, are you a vacay-ready girl? Tweet us @LookBookStore or leave a comment below.

Won over by the siren's call? Are you heading to the beach this season?

The smell of the ocean, the sound of the waves, ahhhh summer! But before that, here are some Dos and Don’ts in the beach while wearing your bikinis on.
1. Don’t wear  blings

Leave it at home, not even a beauty pageant contestants would mix shiny big stones with swimsuits. Save the jewels for a night out instead.
But if you must, wear a long statement necklace that you can easily remove when you want to take a dip.

2. Don't wear heels
Would you? Oh dear! Just don’t. You wouldn’t want your Jimmy Choos or your Manolo Blahniks to get soiled, would you? Besides, the heels will just sink through the sand, making treading along difficult. That’ll just ruin your poise.
3. Do know what bathing suit fits your body best

4. Don’t be afraid to mix and match
Can’t decide which animal print you like to wear? Leopard or zebra? Wear ‘em both. Have fun while experimenting the best pair.
5. Do pack a cover up!

You never know where a day at the beach will take you. Be ready for an impromptu date or lunch with the girls by tucking a cover up in your bag.
And that’s it. Don’t let the fashion police get to you by putting these ideas in mind. Do you have something bigger to add in our list? I'd love to hear your opinion by commenting below.

This Father's Day, shower  your old man with more than just  hugs and kisses. Spend time with him with these fund ideas. Besides, you're never too old to hang out with dad.

1. Go on a father-and-daughter date.

Time spent with people who matter, like your dad, is invaluable. So if your hectic schedule is keeping you from reconnecting with your dad on a regular basis, take him on a nice restaurant where you can talk, dine and unwind.

After all, good food is best shared with good people. Of course, it wouldn't hurt to dress up for this special occasion by looking for date-appropriate clothes, such as a bodycon dress.

2. Take him to the great outdoors.

Do you ever miss those times when you get to go camping with the family or go fishing with your dad and brothers? Well, if you miss those good times, take him and the rest of the family on a weekend trip.

Father and daughter at the beach

Believe it or not, doing something outdoor-sy for a change is a fun way to reconnect with your loved ones.

3. Dinner with the entire family.

Let your dad relax and unwind for a day and do the greasy work of making dinner. And at the end of the simple gather, make sure to make a special toast just for him.

4. Go on a family vacation.

Bask in the sun's goodness  while swapping memories with the whole family at the beach. Better yet, go on a tropical island weekend getaway. Experiencing something new together is a great way to strengthen family ties.

Family biking together

5. Watch a live game together.

If your dad is a sports fanatic, what better way to bond with him than by watching a live sports game with his favorite team. Plus, a fun way to open up conversations without any reservations.

And that's about it. I hope you'll find these ideas useful. There are still a few more days left before Father's Day so there's still time to plan your father-daughter date.

But if you have any more better ideas, please share them. I'd like to hear what you've come up with for this special event.

They say that summer is the best time to fall in love, and I couldn't agree more! Flowers are in bloom and the sky is just a beautiful shade of blue, creating the perfect ambiance to feel twitter pated and get in a romantic high.

However, there are times that our pockets doesn't seem to be friendly with us.  After all, we got bills to pay, parties to attend and wedding gifts to buy -- it's the wedding month after all!

The good thing now is that going out on a date and spending quality time together doesn't have to be expensive.

That said, here are few pocket-friendly date ideas you can try this summer.

1. Cook His Favorite Food

The way to a man's heart is through his stomach.

Summer is definitely around the corner. I can already hear the beach calling my name and waves crashing to the shore.

I couldn't wait  anymore for summer to begin. But in order for us to fully enjoy summer, we have to face our biggest enemy in the form of finals week (cue party poppers).

Oh, the joy of being a college student.

Let's make studying for finals more fun with these 5 simple tips.

1. Take a break from all social media

You simply can't focus. You just can't.

2.  Never memorize

Reading and understanding the material will help you to easily remember information instead of just memorizing it.

3.  Get a good night's sleep.

Because pulling an all-nighter before your exam is a step towards failure. You're brain is literally a mess mainly to stress. It's the night of your finals so just be confident and relax.

4. The big day

You've studied for this, girl. Take a deep breath and be confident.

5.  ...and we party!!!

Because it was a rough week, and you deserve to have a good time.

And that's about it, pretties! Now get out there and nail that finals. Good luck!

So here comes spring and oh what joy it brings. School is about to end and summer is just around the corner waiting for its turn to shine upon us.

So worrying about your single status is a major faux pas this spring. Why sulk and stay indoors when you can do amazing things such as...

1. Party to your heart's content

Although Coachella has just ended ,  there are more music festivals to look forward to. After all, spring is the time for music festivals.

2. Practice some moves

Queen B's music videos has some serious dance choreography. So learning some dance steps is a fun way to lose those excess weight and get  a toned bod ready for summer.

3. Go on (multiple) blind dates

There's nothing wrong in staying in and binge watching all your favorite TV series, especially when there  are a lot of hot guys on TV to drool over. But letting your dear friends set you up on blind dates is a new adventure that's better than TV show marathons.

The best part is you create your own drama that makes life interesting.

See? Being single this season is not that bad. Sulking around the corner and being bitter of your status won't let you enjoy the season. So which tips will you do or tell a friend?

Tuesday, 10 February 2015

So I’ve read a lot of bitter posts about being single on Valentine’s Day. Three more days and its V-Day! I’m sure posts about not having a date this weekend is a big deal but there are a lot of waysto celebrate V-Day alone. After, it’s not the end of the world.

While it does seem sad not having someone to give you flowers and take you on a really nice date every February 14th,  being single also has its perks. Below are just some of them.

Reason #1.You got more time in your hands

Who doesn’t love to spend time with family and friends? You get to do all the things you want to do, like go on a vacation, attend parties  and pretty much  anything under the sun. This may not happen all the time if you're dating. Unless, of course,  you share the same interests.

Reason #2.Go on  many dates

Meeting new people can be fun and exciting. Especially if you're not into looking for a serious relationship right now. So just chill if you're single. This your chance to meet all kinds of people to expand your social circle.

Reason #3. Party!

Just think about all the hot guys you can meet. Plus, you can just be yourself wherever you go. No body to tell you what and what not to wear. Or to remind you of a curfew.

Being single doesn't mean you have to feel lonely. You have friends and family to keep you occupied. So if you feel like you're not ready to take the relationship plunge, don't feel guilty. Just enjoy the ride because when the right man comes along, there's no turning back.
